In days of yore, when I lived in a more southern portion of Texas, I frequented an amazing grocery store called HEB, which cannot be found any further north than Stephenville, which is a two hour drive from myself. However, I have discovered an even better place to be amazed at, which is actually a branch of HEB, called Central Market.
Central Market is like this amazing place where they have, for instance, a Spa Bar, or a Bath Salts Bar, depending on which location you are in:
The Spa bar works like this: there is a selection of bath salts, or various skin creams, lotions, masks, and cleansers in bins with scoops or ladles. You select a container, and fill it with any combination of the above, for a set price. In other words, you make your OWN skin care/bath salt mixture! It's awesome and amazing. The first time I did it, though, it ended up smelling like crap because I didn't know how to combine the scents properly & was too dumb to follow the instructions.
Ok, here's the other amazing thing: they have this huge bulk food selection where you can buy, by the pound, almost anything, from beef jerky to chewy spree candy, to cereal, trail mix, coffee, pretzels, chocolate, and even candy corn, if it's in season. :-)
Anyhow, this is why I love Central Market. The End!
In other news, in less than 32 hours, I will be seeing Sufjan Stevens, live! Will definitely be posting about that. It may include lots of pics. Or not. We'll see...
