So, here's something God's been putting on my heart lately:
I want to be a fore-runner.
I want to be on the edge.
I want to be out there.
I want to be where the wild things are.
I don't want to be hanging back with the rest of the body of Christ, waiting on someone else to lead the way to the next thing He's doing.
I don't want to let someone else be in the line of fire, out on the edge, out where it's dangerous, while I sit back in my pew religiously judging and critiquing and deliberating whether this is of God or not.
I want to be running ahead of the majority, running with all my might, regardless of what other people think, what other people say, what other people do, running as hard and as fast as I can toward Jesus, and running with all my might toward what He's called me to be as His bride, to be as free of tradition and religion and preconceived ideas and fetters and weights and my own stereotypes of what a God is or should be, as I can get, so I will be at the forefront of what the Spirit is doing...
So I will be able to see my Jesus, my Bridegroom, as clearly as possible...
So I will be able to see my earthly bridegroom as clearly as possible when I meet him...
So I will be a free, healed, whole, cleansed, spotless, shining, beautiful, un-shackled, un-weighed-down, free, free, free bride... who can love her God and her husband freely, without anything interfering.
I want to be where the wild things are.
